Favorite Activity: Reading, spending time with my dogs & exploring parts of Austin I haven’t seen or visited yet.
Favorite Book: I normally read historical romance novels but I enjoyed reading Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code for his wonderfully descriptive and suspense filled writing.
Favorite Historical Figure: Charles F. Worth would be the historical figure I choose as my favorite. Why? Because he would be considered one of the first couture designers because he came from a time in which seamstresses made clothing based on what their clients instructed them to make but Worth marched to his own tune by dictating to his clients what they should wear.
What animal best represents you and why? I would have to say my namesake, the cat, is the animal that best represents me. I am aloof, independent, at times moody, meticulous by nature, and have cat like reflexes.
What is your greatest weakness? I always tell people that my weakness is my debilitating illness of being a perfectionist with a little bit of obsessive compulsive tendencies tossed in the mix. I like things done my way, especially if the work has my name all over it, because I work really hard to complete or submit projects/work only after I’m 100% satisfied with the results.
What is your greatest strength? My weakness goes hand in hand with my strength. I believe that being a perfectionist is a great asset for the type of work I do…this just makes me that much harder for a non-perfectionist to work alongside.
Interesting fact about yourself? I’m a proud, first-generation Vietnamese American. I come from an eclectic family because both my parents have been married prior to this marriage. I’m a self-proclaimed hypochondriac…I think all my aches & pains are serious health illnesses and I like to make sure everyone around me is aware of my condition. Just so you know…my latest ailment is arthritis in my ring finger.
Why do you work at EACP? I work at EACP because I believe schools not only need strong administrators and teachers but they need the administrative staff that work diligently behind the scenes to ensure the school runs smoothly. I like to think my work at EACP contributes to enabling the school to support worthy programs within our school and in our community and positively affect the lives of our students and our community.
