East Austin College Prep is a tuition-free charter school. The deadline for applications is April 1. All applications received after April 1 will be placed on our waiting list.
Cost to Attend
FREE! East Austin College Prep Academy is a public charter school and does not charge tuition.
Eligibility & Geographic Boundaries
East Austin College Prep is open to any incoming East Austin 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grader residing in the geographic area east of Interstate 35, south of U.S. Highway 290, west of U.S. Highway 183 and north of State Highway 71. If all available slots are not filled by students living in this primary service area, then any student living in the geographic area served by Austin ISD and Del Valle ISD can apply.
Enrollment Process
Submit an application for enrollment by March 31st to be considered in the lottery for the upcoming school year. Contact Principal Rocha at 287-5000 or mrocha@eaprep.org to schedule a tour, find out about Open House events, or to ask questions about enrollment.
Waiting List & Lottery
Since East Austin College Prep has more applications than spaces in each grade level, available spaces are filled through a random lottery each April for the upcoming school year. Siblings of currently enrolled students have priority.
