About ACE

ACE is an out-of-school-time program partnering with the Boys & Girls Club that provides a school-based environment to enrich EAPrep students’ academic success. ACE brings in many partners to introduce and teach your child new skills. Some of these partners are: Game on Sports, Young Rembrandts, Kids Kitchen, Leap of Joy, Creative Brick Builders, Sylvan Learning, Snapology, Mad Scientist, Boneshakers Bike Program, and Austin Tinkering. In addition, students are provided with a healthy afterschool snack and dinner. Though we're afterschool, ACE works closely with the school to ensure our expectations and academic program align with the school day.

Schedule: 1st - 5th grade. Monday-Friday, 3:30pm - 7:00pm, PreK-Kinder, Monday-Friday, 3:30pm - 4:30pm, designated Saturdays

Location:
EAPrep Elementary School (SWK Campus) 6002 Jain Lane, 78721

Afterschool Program: Activities include Power Hour with homework assistance to aid your child in completing their homework, tutoring services from Sylvan Learning to other academically based learning opportunities like the Newsletter Team, Mathletes and Science Club led by talented ACE leaders. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in co-curricular activities including sports, coding with Dot and Dash, cooking, arts, youth leadership and much more.

Family Program: ACE provides monthly Saturday programming throughout the school year as well as additional educational and college field trips. Our Saturday programs are planned with the idea to have parents participate with their child(ren) so we invite you to check with ACE and see how you can be part of the fun. In addition to Saturday programming we also host Family Nights like Family Math Night and Family Science Night; this gives you the opportunity to learn and experiment alongside your child.

Summer Program: Each summer ACE offers a free STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) camp to all EAPrep Elementary students. STEAM camp runs for 6 weeks and provides students with a space to continue learning in a different setting from the normal classroom; weekly field trips are also included.
